Palma Residences open the first Craft shop of Palma
In order to contribute and promote local handicraft, Palma Residences has just inaugurated the District's first handicraft shop.

The Administrator of Palma, Mr. David Machimbuko, was present at the inauguration of the Boutique Tecomaji, next to the restaurant Bagamoyo, in Palma Residences, last 30 of January.
In addition to dozens of articles created in Palma - elaborated with mats, wicker, bamboo, capulanas - the store offers a wide selection of Swahili crafts from other areas of the Shwahili coast, from Zanzibar, in Tanzania, to the Mozambican island of Ibo, capital of the Qurimbas archipelago.
During the last few months the management of Palma Residences has endeavoured to encourage local artisans, providing them with proper tools and new ideas for products made using local techniques and materials.
