Tanzania improves transport at Rovuma river
Tanzanian Transport Authority has improved since last April 25th the transport in between both shores of Rovuma river in Namoto-Quilambo border.

Besides the daily ferry transport, that depends on high tides to do the trip, all border crossings will now have a safe fiber boat available to cross the river any time during border opening hours -7 AM to 18:00-.
The boat, managed by Tanzanian officers, can transfer 18 people at the time, pushed by two new outboard motors of 40 hp. An official rate of 50 meticais -1.000 tzs- is charged for a simple trip.
The boat will be operational during the first week of May, as soon the Mozambican authorities approve the license for this new international transport in between the two countries.
