Palma Residences initiates a new approach to security in 2018.
With new challenges facing the region in terms of security, we at African Century have decided to be proactive and forward-thinking in terms of Security in Palma.
With the security of our clients and team in Palma in mind, a partnership has arisen between African Century Real Estate/Palma Residences and GardaWorld.
This is not just a name change in terms of our security service provider, but a firm move to adapt to the changing environment we are facing in the region, thus we will bring the first K9 unit to Cabo Delgado and namely into Palma to secure our developments and create a GardaWorld operational base.
GardaWorld is the largest privately owned security company in the world with over 62,000 professionals working worldwide.
Based in Nairobi, Kenya with additional offices in Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, Malawi, Republic of Congo and in the very near future Mozambique, Garda´s K9 operations employ over 25,000 staff to provide different K9 security products and services across East Africa.
Garda World’s K9 operations are run to the highest international operational standard. Other certifications include:
BS 8517-1:2009 -Code of practice for the use of general-purpose security dogs (training and operational use of dogs).
In Palma our partnership includes the following:
- Space for a certified kennel for at least 10 dogs in our Palma Business Park - GardaWold regional office also within our Business Park - Accommodation and meals for the Garda World team at Palma Residences
As soon as the partnership is operational we will begin to have K9 team patrolling Palma Residences and the Palma Business Park perimeter, making our developments in Palma even safer.
